MedCo is excited to announce the expansion of our sales team. Jeff Brown and Gail Locke have joined the MedCo sales team as VP of Sales.

Jeff brings strong sales leadership and will be responsible for launching our newest solution Health QRS, as well as growing our RCM business. Gail has tremendous legal and bad debt experience and will be focused on our bad debt solution. With these two additions, MedCo is posed to continue its growth beyond 2020 and be the valued partner that healthcare providers can count on,” says Executive Vice President of Sales, Greg Wilder.
Mr. Brown has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare sector specializing in physician practice management and operations. The last 20 years of his career have been focused on emergency medicine and trauma services. His administrative experience includes responsibility for all operations at a level 1 trauma center treating in excess of 140,000 patients annually. He has also been instrumental in business development for some of the largest managed service healthcare companies in the country. His experience also includes sales and management of all national account relationships for the largest EMR vendor in emergency medicine serving patients in every state. Mr. Brown has an extensive background in analytics, revenue cycle and best practices and is committed to the cultivation and development of long term relationships. He received his BA in Health Service Administration from Auburn University.
Mrs. Locke’s passion for Hospital Revenue began when she started her career working part-time at a local hospital in Pensacola, Florida at the young age of seventeen. Since then she has gained extensive knowledge of Patient Accounting, Reimbursement, Managed Care and Internal Cash control. Before joining the sales team, Gail was the Client Services Manager and then part of the development team for MedCo’s bad debt division. Gail has been with MedCo for over 4 years and holds a BA in Accounting from Athens State University.

Joe Uptain, President and CEO of MedCo, along with Wallace Harmening our Vice President of Sales joined our client to participate in Cullman Regional’s Million Dollar Hole-In-One Extravaganza.
The Million Dollar Hole-In-One Golf Extravaganza is held in September each year and offers a day of fun in the sun for a good cause. The event includes a traditional golf tournament, a putting contest, a helicopter golf ball drop, and a Million Dollar Hole-in-One Shootout between qualifiers competing for a million dollar prize!
All proceeds from the tournament go into essential projects and services that ensure access to quality care for all CRMC patients and the community they serve.
