MedCo’s Collection Management System (CMS) utilizes guarantor credit scoring to quickly identify and manage more focused collection efforts. The CMS is programmed to utilize this information to prioritize calling and letter campaigns. The knowledge of the guarantor’s credit score enables our customer service representatives to make fact based decisions concerning the ability of the patient to pay and to identify patients that may qualify for the healthcare provider’s financial programs.
